how many people does it take to attatch an overhead screen to the ceiling?
apparently two. one fifty-some year old math teacher and a rather large classmate of mine. large in comparison to me anyway.
so it was a bright and sunny, though somewhat cold, winter day in montreal...and i'm sitting in math class at 8:15. it's monday morning and altho i'd been up for two hours i wasn't needing coffee just yet. so we get into examples of sin/x in limits when suddenly the overhead projector screen comes crashing down from the ceiling, fortunately not on anyone's head. i can't blame it on coffee hallucinations since i haven't had any yet. and so the next ten minutes passed with my math teacher and a student trying to fix the screen, almost tearing down half the ceiling in the process. as soon as they fixed it, it came right off again. they managed to get it to somewhat stay, although i pity the poor soul that will be lecturing in that particular classroom next. i must say...that's been (almost) the most entertaining math class i've had.
thus the decrepid state of marianopolis college lowers it's reputation...limit tending towards zero.
